| Customer Reviews: Beware Cookie "Tail" June 4, 2010 Jean M. Quinn (Fredericksburg, VA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
WARNING: IF YOU HAVE A WEAK STOMACH DONT READ THIS!
I am giving this one star since I don't think you can leave it blank. I have written to the company about my problem and sent pictures, three weeks have gone by with no response from them. I was hoping for an acknowledgment and an apology but alas...
I ordered the cookies because of the great comments on Amazon and I am a newly diagnosed diabetic who loves cookies. I opened the Lemon cookies and was reading my Kindle when something in my mouth didnt feel right. I spit out what can only be discribed as a TAIL. It appears to have been baked into the cookie and was hanging out of the piece I spit out of my mouth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am a 63 year old grandmother of 3, conservative and have NEVER posted anything like this anywhere. Heaven only knows what I ate in the cookies preceding the tail (assuming it is a rodent tail).
Amazon is a trusted part of my life and let me tell you I am terrified to eat anything out of a package again. Beware of these cookies, obviously they have at the least a terrible quality assurance dept and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.
For those of us who love sweets..but have limitations! May 22, 2009 Honest Shopper (New Jjersey) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These cookies are great! Be careful though they can make you eat more then you want! great for those who need sugar free treats!
Really good cookies January 6, 2009 Majella Blanas (Anchorage, AK USA) These little cookies are quite good. However they seem to produce gas and too many may give one the "runs."
Great Tasting 2 Carb Cookie April 1, 2008 B. Kiley (Red Bluff, CA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Joseph's makes an entire line of sugar-free cookies that are just 2 carbs per cookie (about 1 1/2" in diameter). My personal favorites on the different flavors are Lemon, Oatmeal and Almond. All three of these are delicious, especially as a dessert while watching carbs - there is nothing in their taste that even hints at "artificial sweetener". Other flavors are Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter (sort of bland), Pecan Shortbread (more along the line of a Pecan Sandie rather than an actual shortbread). The cookies are delicious, but because of the size, low-carb dieters will need to have good self-discipline in order to keep the actual carb count down when eating them.
