5 out of 5 stars For beginner cooks   July 25, 2010
Karen J Johnson
I am not a very good cook and have been banished to the grill by my family as a way to minimize the gustatorial impact of my cooking on friends and family. Even a bad cook can grill a piece of meat if you can simply remember how chared or raw the interior was from the last time you messed up.

The best piece of meat for a bad cook to grill is the tri tip because no matter how badly you cook it, there is still a section well done for those that like it well done and practically walking off the plate for those that like it rare. (Like me) The butcher told me to sprinkle Lindberg and Snyder roast seasoning on the tri-tip and lo and behold, my family ate every piece of meat and then I caught one of my recalcitrant sons licking the chopping block in the kitchen! I havn't yet been promoted back to cooking inside yet but last night I put three tri tips with lindberg seasoning on the grill and my boys attacked them like great whites hitting pup seals off South Africa.. even my girls were growling at each other when the pickings got slim at the end of the meal.

Thanks much for making me look like I know what I am doing! Now do you have a seasoning that will make my family choke down my efforts at Zuchini Casserole? Appreciativly, BJ in Santa Barbara

5 out of 5 stars Can't cook without it.   January 18, 2010

My sister-n-law gave me a bottle of this seasoning and I am hooked. I do not cook meat without it. Lindberg roast seasoning is the only flavoring I use in hamburgers, on steaks and roasts.

I put it on all steaks, hamburgers, and any other beef when I bbq. Nothing else comes close.

Great value, great stuff.14 oz bottle should last you 6mo to a year.Try it-you will like it. Thanks to bill johnson for the gift.

This is the best rub I have ever used. My aunt turned me onto it and I wouldn't use anything else on my Prime Rib, Filet Minon or any beef. It's the bomb!
